I had some very leggy seedlings which I had to plant out a while ago. They're now looking fairly healthy and bigger but are pushing up against the nets. Can I take the nets off now, will the pigeons leave them alone now they are not so young and tender ?

Hi, I would leave the netting on. Pidgeons are a nightmare they will get very deperate over the winter as food will be hard to come by. Your brassicas will be there winter feed!! Net it and make sure that they cannot even get under any gaps at floor level. Take care.
