Had my first chilis this year.

    My first this year to go red so I made a chili con carne not that hot really I put two this time so it will be three at least next time.......note to self ...DONT RUB YOUR EYES.......at least I forgot my cold for while smiley - sadface.....smiley - biggrin

    Great isn't it.

    Mine are turning red but they are ever so tiny, only 1inch or so long. I've still a jar full of dried one's from last year.

    Have you grown peppers? They should start turning colour about now, depending on the variety. I picked my first pepper at the weekend.

    No Zoomer I don't grow peppers I only have little plastic greenhouse and it's full of chillies.

    I like the inch long red ones because I can more accurately gauge how many per person...at least one per person depending on their heat tolerance.

    I did have some left from last year on a string in the kitchen but they had got very dusty and I've used up all the red ones and the faded yellow ones don't look so appetizing so I've chucked 'em.
    I will do as you do next time and keep them in a jar after they are dried, I also froze some last year but lost those when the freezer defrosted accidentally smiley - sadface
