Hi All
I am in the process of re-siting my strawberry patch. I read somewhere (I think it was The Expert Fruit Frower) that strawberries should not be planted on sites where they have been grown within the last few years and where potatoes have recently been grown. I was hoping to put them where I had potatoes this year after I have composted the area in readiness.
Do any of our board experts know the reasons for these pieces of advice or if there is any truth in them? Any other hints on strawb growing/siting would also be welcome.
