Problem with Lemon Tree starting to drop leaves, it is kept in conservatory at temp 60f, started to water occasionally....any ideas of problem

Possibly too hot - possibly too dry - really soak them when the compost is really dry and try misting the leaves. Mine is in a conservatory with added heat twice a day - but always cooler than yours seems to be.
Anyway - don't worry - theyre quite resilient and should put on new leaf and fruit ok
has it just been bought? It could just be a bit of stress for the climate change.
when its starts recovering you can prune all the dry (and anyway all the branches wich had fruit) and it will look good again in spring

Thanks Avariel, My daughter bought the tree and gave it to us as a Christmas gift and kept the gift as a precaution against the ride home in a cold car, so, yes, you are probably right in your assessment.
