Hi,
I had alot of trouble this year with pigeons eating my peas, does anyone know if there are traps you can catch them in so i can take them far away and let them go. or other suggestions welcome.
I think netting over your peas is much more straightforward. Besides trapping pigeons without licence might be a criminal offence (over here NL it is), depending on the type of pigeon you're dealing with .... woodpigeons being free game along with rabbits, moles and crows, ...
I live on a farm where there are hundreds of pigeons. I us old cds and have no problem. Try tying them on Hazel poles at a suitable angle which prevents them from twisting round the poles. If you patrol your garden regularly the pigeons will get fed up with your presence and feed elsewhere.
