i have a rabbit (a pet one) in my back garden and my lawn is short but very mossy and bare in places.
How do i treat this in a way that my rabbit will appreciate? im not sure if he will like any grass seed i put down and if so how do i stop him from eating it.
I want to use an organic method and feel mean not letting him exercise, but still want a decent lawn.

To be fair Rabbits like to eat the leaves of weeds rather than grass, otherwise they have to eat their own droppings to digest the grass second time round. Best to just rake the lawn to remove the moss and apply a liquid feed of organic seaweed fertilzer. Cut the lawn higher and alow weeds to grow to give Rabbit a salad or two. Incidently, Queen Charlotte Mecklenburg-Strelitz, wife of George 3rd used to like dandelion leaves not that she would necessarily eat them raw, often they would be
prepared in a cream cheese with other bitter herbs like sorrel.
