There is a programme on Â鶹Éç1 on Tuesday at 10.35pm-about leylandii and the people who love and hate them -could be worth a look.
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed it although it never ceases to amaze me just how selfish and thoughtless some people can be. I have a small Leylandii hedge but would never allow it to get out of control to spoil my next-door-neighbours lives. I thought the reaction by the local church was particularly bad. They were "not interested in the hedge" but concentrated on "looking after their flock". Quite a number of the hedges were in my home county of Kent. Clearly we have more barmy people than I thought here.
A typically interesting documentary that we Brits seem to be good at making.
Good programme
