I am trying to find a book called "How to Grow Vegetables" that I believe was mentioned on the August 12th episode of gardening heroes. Perhaps by Joy Larkham or Beth Chatto? I have not been able to find anything on Amazon. I will need to order it online as I need it in English and live in the Netherlands. Thanks!

I can't remember the book mentioned on the programme, but it might have been Percy Thrower's 'How to Grow Vegetables and Fruit'
I'm sure it is good even if it isn't the right one.

Hello, vdschagt.
I didn't see Gardening Heroes, but I do have an excellent book by Joy Larkcom, 'Grow your own Vegetables', which is probably what you're after.
Highly recommended by me, and others on this site.

Just remembered, I did see Joy Larkcom in something during the summer - just caught a bit of it where she was shovelling up seaweed for her veg.. And the book's been reduced to £6.99 (Amazon), worth at least double!!

I will look on Amazon now as I believe that is the book. Thank you so much!
