Does the killing of Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi mark a great step forward for the counter insurgency? Or will his supporters be inspired by his martyrdom?
Here's a quote from Prof. Amatzia Baram of the University of Haifa:
"Most actions under al-Qaida's inspiration are carried out by independent cells that will now, in the wake of Zarqawi's death, need to think very carefully about the chances of their success.
"On the one hand, his personal example will continue to be a source of inspiration. On the other hand, his elimination will constitute a warning sign for potential terrorists."
But Michael Berg, father of the murdered hostage Nicholas Berg, thinks there will be in revenge for the death of al-Zarqawi.

The death of Zakarwi at least come as a relief to us,but it doesn't mean the job in Iraq is done,this new born still has a long way to go.Even so, I don't think al-Qaida can achieve their aim,for their terror attack cause more casualties of the civilian than that of US force.Zakarwi is hated by most Iraqis even by other Iraqi insurgents
who target military instead of the citizens,futhermore they think Zakarwi and his foreign fighters are messing up their country.Anyway,I ascertain Zakarwi's successor will have no better result,if more bloodshed of the citizens arising from his attack
