Local radio station is used by schools in NE Wales to inform parents when schools are closed due to the snow, along with Â鶹Éç Radio Wales Â鶹Éç Radio Cymru, and text updates via the website.

Council websites are also a good source of information in the event of local distruptions.

I've noticed this morning it has been difficult to get on some of these sites due to the volume of users also trying to get up to date information.

So it still pays to listen to your radio.

Â鶹Éç Radio Wales and Â鶹Éç Radio Cymru are also keeping their listeners updated about schools closures as well as the website.

I'm keeping across things from home today - thanks to the wonders of technology - and I'll keep you posted here and via where you can also let me know what you're up to if you've got a snow day!
