It's amazing, isn't it, just how many people we come into contact with in our daily lives? And this has become evident as the - responsible for controlling the outbreak near Corwen - has been identifying people who may have had some degree of contact.

So far they've identified 221 people, that's 36 in the 'household setting', 14 in the local school and a massive 171 in the workplace, including patients and staff at two hospitals.

Among those, 79 patients and staff from Ward 6 at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd are being offered tamiflu as a precaution because of contact with a healthcare worker who is being treated for the H7 flu virus.

And 69 patients and staff from the Accident and Emergency Unit, Trysfan Ward and Gogarth Ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd are also being contacted because a patient, now discharged, is also being treated.

The health experts aren't taking any chances. And they're keeping the public up to date via their website which says: "The full list of contacts is constantly changing as possible contacts are added to or taken off the database."
