You will have no doubt noticed that the festive fun has truly started with the booze flowing and the drunks falling into the streets. I've seen blokes getting their kit off on the tables of work's dos and women falling out of their party frocks. Don't you just love this time of year?

Police have launched a number of operations in the area with Wrexham and Rhyl, among others, facing a crackdown. is the daddy of them all, say North Wales Police. So, watch out for:

  • Op Tube - Crackdown on drink / drug driving with roadside breath tests
  • Op Santa - Tackling shoplifters with dedicated police teams
  • Op Townsafe - Reducing incidents of public disorder and assaults and increase public reassurance with increased patrols involving horses
  • Op Custom Car - Reduce potential dangers and anti-social driving
  • Licensing Enforcement - This will entail visits to licensed premises to ensure that no alcohol is supplied to those underage

To all party animals, you have been warned!
