At last, work is due to start to reduce congestion on the Deeside-Cheshire border at the end of the M56 and into North Wales. reports that an exhibition starts today at to show more about the A5117 Deeside Park junctions improvements to build a 5km (3.1 mile) dual carriageway to replace the roundabouts.

The widening of the A550 at Queensferry - before the Blue Bridge and leading to Shotwick Lights - has done much to alleviate congestion and so this next phase should help further, don't you think?

Trouble is, after this work the next planned phase will be between Queensferry at and up to Ewloe and it is causing a lot of upset among the local community around the Old Aston Hill.
