Warmest day so far

Derek Brockway Derek Brockway | 12:56 UK time, Wednesday, 24 June 2009

Well yesterday was the warmest day in Wales since June 3rd with temperatures hitting 25 Celsius in a few spots, 77F.

The heat and humidity sparked off a few showers and thunderstorms but its a different story today.

The air is more stable and drier too. The humidity lower with plenty of strong sunshine.

So a beautiful start to Glastonbury today but the sun is fierce so don't forget your hat, suncream and drink plenty of water.

Most of Thursday should be dry as well but on Friday it will turn humid with a threat of heavy, thundery downpours so if you're heading to Pilton, take the wellies just in case - It could turn muddy.

Over the weekend, very warm but feeling very muggy. Some hazy sunshine with a risk of a heavy shower or thunderstorm.

Derek
