I bring urgent news from , where I have spent a pleasant few hours with some very earnest students talking about politics and culture: there is going to be a Democrats club on campus!!

Not sure quite how well attended it will be - the students giggled when I asked them if they were supporters of Obama or Clinton. But the tectonic plates of US politics are grinding...
