Re News 24's coverage of exhibition of newspaper headlines: "I was annoyed that nobody mentioned the 'Phew, what a scorcher' headline which was published in the Evening Standard around 1969/1970. This has become notorious in journalistic history and as such I felt it should have been mentioned."

Re 麻豆社 Breakfast: Caller felt that Sian Williams was an excellent presenter. "Her diction was superb." Another caller said: "I really liked Dermot Murnaghan's colourful tie. It brightened up a dull morning."

Re Newsnight: Caller felt that Mark Oaten was an unsuitable choice of guest. "I do not feel that this man should have been allowed on this programme. He is seeking to excuse himself for his behaviour and is using the media to do so."

Re Newsnight: Caller felt it was inappropriate for Jeremy Paxman to suggest that 11 September was poignant to everyone. "My baby was born that day and I didn't hear about the tragedy until the following week. Life still goes on."
