Hi y'all,

How est it going? Last week, I popped down to the set of The Cut and got you a little present... in the form of GOSSIP (don't tell me you've never asked for that for Christmas?). Brace yourselves, people.

So firstly, when I arrived on set they were filming the opening scene for series two which was set in a school. The whole thing was done in one take that followed different characters as they moved through the school, which meant that if anyone mucked up their lines, forgot their movements or, err, bumped into the camera (*cringe*) they had to start all over again. The scene took about 5 hours to film. Now THAT is dedication.

In other gossip, it turns out that one of the new characters is called Frankie and she's going to be Olive's best friend. Billie (who plays Olive) sent me this picture of the two of them together on set:

Lastly, if you've been wondering what's happened to The Cut specials this week (the live, weekly show where we go backstage at The Cut), do not fear! We were off air this week, but will be back with gossip and updates from series two next Tuesday (30th April) at 5:19pm on

Hellooooo and happy weekend!

Well, I say 'happy weekend' but it turns out it's not a weekend for the people who work on The Cut... and that's because today, they are FILMING SERIES TWO which is going to air in late April! Eep.

They started filming on Monday and do you wanna know a secret? Three new actors started too. For a little more exclusive gossip on them as well as a bit about the up and coming storylines, check out this week's Cut Special. In the next few weeks we'll also be revealing the chosen two were from The Cut open auditions.

I've heard Series Two is going very well but that everyone is pretty cold, so they're using these little hand warmers to keep them warm...

Billie's hand warmer

Billie left hers behind so I stole it. Is that weird? Probably.

Lastly, if you've got a burning question you'd like to ask the cast (for example: 'what is your favourite orange food?'), or if you've got an idea of how we should initiate the newbies into The Cut (for example 'forcing them to dance all day on set'), then email them to thecut@bbc.co.uk and we will do our best to find out the answers/make your idea happen.

OAO,

Vicki x

PS. Wanna catch up with this week's episode of The Cut on iPlayer but too lazy to search for it? Then this little link should make your life a lot easier...
