Ahead of his return to our screens in the Apprentice tonight the Conservatives should stop threatening to cut the licence fee.

The Â鶹Éç's newspaper review shows the papers are keeping up the pressure on the Conservative leadership over the impact of their child benefit proposals. The Financial Times says it has muddled the message that the cuts will include harsh measures for high earners too. The Guardian says Prime Minister David Cameron was forced to apologise to voters.
