I'm the Â鶹Éç's media correspondent and this is my brief selection of what's going on.

that the Â鶹Éç's treatment of children's radio has been shameful, in her review of Radio 4's The Reunion, which brought together the team behind Play School. Even so, she thinks a statement from commercial radio calling on the Â鶹Éç to do more about children's radio is "a bit rich".

The that this follows a letter to culture secretary Jeremy Hunt from media analyst Claire Enders urging against the takeover.
