The PM Pointless Postcard Blog Thing
Thanks entirely to Richard, who has done a lot of work for me, here are the first the the cards that have been un-posted for many days now. Won't post them all at once as I know that eats up the entire page.
Fearless Fred says he was in Antwerp to "visit a customer"...
Vyle writes with this snap of the Cabot Tower in Bristol..."if it has a point, it's not clearly visible"
Huzzah! Eddie (and Richard) thanks! Fame at last :-)
Hooray!
Can't see Big Sis and Val P (amongst others) being too happy, though!
Vyle, old thing, the point's quite clearly visible. It's at the top of the stone thingummy in the middle of the picture.
Shoulda gone to Sp*csav*rs!
Si.
I maintain a dignified silence on the matter. I know Lord Mair cares and will post my card soon ....
Mmmm I agree John,
BigSis will go Bananas
Well done, Fearless, you're there are last. I think Eddie's posting in date order (I may be wrong). This approach is very democratic.
But my postcards will be worth the wait.
With you on the dignified silence bit, Big Sis, (well I've tried whingeing, and I've tried bleating).
Big thanks to you though John H, for remembering me :o)
Ffred, it's so long ago, I bet you can't remember much about 'the customer' - or would that have been the Belgian beer?
Erm, more likely to be the beer, to be honest! In fact, I'm surprised Eddie can read the scrawl that it must've been... I wrote this in the hotel bar at the end of a very long day and at least two beers (or maybe three...)
Eddie
Liked the "too close to call" bit in the newsletter.
There must be a term for that sort of thinking - "pun" isn't suffucient. Anybody any ideas?
Did you have witloof in Antwerpen, FF?
I have a question:
The PM Pointless Blog Postcard Thing
has now been transposed into
The PM Pointless Postcard Blog Thing
Which is correct? Or is the question pointless?
Help!
The black hole has swallowed the beach again!

Re: your hair.
Cannot make any intelligent suggestions as the relevant part appears to be missing (in the very rebarbative photograph at the top of this page).
Do you normally keep it in your briefcase? If so, you could take it out and sit on it.
Ed
The Black Hole must be at your end. I've just been to the beach for a swim.
Ed (12), Beach is fine, although someone had better keep Sara company, as she's on pints of Sancerre.
Rob,
It reappeared quite quickly. It seemed to be coincident with a temporary inability to get to one of the quickie postcard bloggettes, and both bugs have now disappeared. The Beach is lovely this afternoon and there's quite a bit of interesting driftwood from the recent fullmoon tides.

At that distance (18" from postcard) I was unable to distinguish the point. Thanks for your acute observation.
At last! Congratulations Fearless and Vyle!
("Fearless & Vyle" - sounds like a gothic comedy duo, dunnit?...)
Robbie - currently 11, it is confusing isn't it. At first I read it as pointless postcards, which is why I sent the one of that dire piece of statuary in Melbourne Botanical Gardens, but it was only after I'd sent it, that I remembered that Eddie ( may he live for ever or at least almost that long) has since the beginning referred to the blog as pointless. So then I sort of thought it must be postcards with a point but for the pointless blog.
At the end of that day does it matter I ask myself. Well it certainly will if Eddie or Lissa or Richard or somebody doesn't get Val's and Big Sis' offerings up there soon.
Frances O (10) To be honest, I don't think I did. As with any business trip, I saw an airport, an office and an hotel. Time doesn't usually permit any personal time on the EU trips:(

The address I have (carry it with me at all times now) is The PM Pointless Blog Thing.
It's just evolution before your very eyes.
