Day 2 of the tour- Jack Penates house
Today we visited Jack Penates house in South London. It was a gorgeous home and Jack and his Mum made us feel very welcome. Jacks Mum had made us some gorgeous lasagne and their neighbour Martin brought round some amazing cocktails!

Today was a whole heap of fun. Probably the exact opposite of yesterday's lounges - McFly's places were all shiny and new and only just beginning to have their owners stamp their personalities on them, Jack's was crammed with character and each nook and cranny told a story. In the basement was Jack's bedroom - trainers, hats, cds, dvds and old flyers from early gigs. The atmosphere was incredibly homely - we all got treated to scrummy lasagne by his mum. Who then proceeded to tell us embarrassing stories about jack. No he didn't wet the bed but yes he did dress up as Michael Jackson with the single white glove. And loved being in all his school plays including being cyclops with a giant papier mache head. Jack also talked about being in Oliver in London's west end as a child and doing the odd dodgy TV ad. How we laughed at the pictures of jack throughout the years with different hair lengths and how I'm dreading MIKA coming round tomorrow and what hometruths he might uncover at mine....

I spend many a day in my car reping; listening to a cocktail of Radio 1 and Jack Penate, and have never enjoyed your show more! More of Jack please he is a legend. Defo think his version of Feists track should appear on the next Live Lounge album, Classic!
