Reserve games draw Jardine to coaching

I got a much-needed run-out on Monday night with the reserves at Galabank when I played in our 6-0 semi-final win.

To say it's been a frustrating time recently would be a bit of an understatement when I've only played for half an hour in our last four games.

I'd rather not be playing reserve games, to be honest, as it would mean I was playing regularly on a Saturday but the game alongside the majority of our Under-19s came at a good time.

Unfortunately, when you look at our performance on the day, it may have seemed as if we thought we were already over the finish line.

We made a late fight of it with a couple of goals in the last half hour and might even have sneaked something but that would have been daylight robbery and very unfair on Berwick.

Two points from top spot with five games to play; it doesn't make for bad reading at all does it?

Ok, I missed out the wee bit that do have a game in hand, but I also missed out that they still have to come down to our place in the second last game of the season.

It's great to still be involved in things at this late stage in the season and hopefully we can stay in the title race until Arbroath come to visit.

That has the potential to be some day at Galabank.
