Title: My Angel

by Leigh from Derbyshire | in writing, poetry

If words could only express what you meant to me, we'd still be a step away from convalescence.
I'm a light-year away from your rapture, yet in psyche we couldn't be more devoted.
Every second is magical, precious.
Priceless to me; my heart would disintegrate without you yet,
Intimacy will never be the topic smeared across our dirty mouths,
Your complexion too tender to be abused,
Lingering profanities untouch your cheeks.
Unmitigation is eminent upon your annihilation, yet
Somehow I sense I'll be blamed for more than a funeral mishap.
