Title: A Five-Year-Old Teen

by Abbii from Hampshire and Isle of Wight | in writing, poetry

I am
Beautiful, happy, free.
I am
Anyone but me.
I am
A child, carefree and smiling,
I am
Pathetically striving.
I am
A witch, hidden under a hood,
I am
Fatally misunderstood.
I am
A wolf, a tiger, a bear,
I am
Who knows where?
I am
No one anyone knows,
I am
Surrounded by limitless foes.
I am,
I am,
I am,
I am,
I am.

I can't believe any more.

When I was a child, I used to believe I was anything, a creature, pretty, a witch (quite common), a book/television character, anything. I can rarely make the dream work any more, so I tried to put it through.
