Looking ahead to glory and victory
Not looking back to sin and iniquity
Looking upwards to Jesus above
Who shows me His mercy, grace and love.
Looking ahead to a future so bright
Praying and watching with all my might
That I be righteous, true and holy
When Jesus returns in His radiant glory
Looking ahead to eternal life
Earning my crown by toiling and strife
Passing toward the mark for the prize
Of the high calling of Jesus Christ
Looking ahead to the end of the road
Laying aside every burden and load
Also the sin which that so easily hinders
My progress, my success as an achiever
Looking ahead to my Jesus so great
The author and finisher of my faith
El-elohe Israel, El-elohe Bethel
My Almighty God, You are so great.
