Title: Just one bad day?

by Amy from London | in writing, fiction

(The scene starts with Sally in her room doing her homework)
Monologue
Sally: We had science homework? I hate Miss Osborne and her lectures about photosynthesis. I don't know what the time is, but I bet I am going to be late. Here I am in my messy room; I was just looking through my school planner. Then I found out we had science homework. Oh my god, my life is over.
(Jamie enters the room)
Jamie: Sally I can hear you from next door, why aren't you more organised? And stop saying your life is over, you're being too dramatic! Have you seen the time? And when was the last time you cleaned your room? Sally you need to start to grow up, now. You're not a kid anymore, you're a teenager and you need to learn to do things for yourself.
(Sally crosses her arms)
Sally: God, Jamie you make me sound like a wreck! I am just having a bad day. Besides I live for drama. I don't need you to criticise me about my homework! Jamie sometimes you think you can act like mum or something, stop thinking your superior Caesar. Now leave me alone, I need to finish my homework! Plus I don't need you to tell how to hold my pen.
(Jamie walks out the room and slams the door)

(Sally finishes her homework and puts on her school uniform)
Monologue

Sally: I bet I have gained weight. Why does mum always have to cook fatty foods? How can she not care about me having a balanced diet? I wish I was a size 6, which is decent. Unlike me, I am size 8.
Oh my god, my thighs are the size of New Mexico! How come nobody tells me these things? I bet I walk around looking like a sumo, and they all laugh behind my back. Fine, they will see. I am going on a diet! I need to leave now! I am late!
(Leaves home to go to school)

Everyday life for Sally. A dramatic Teen. My Inspiration comes from my heart, i see writing as an art and when i write i feel as if i am painting a picture. And the imagine is beautifully written.
