Title: Voice of my own

by Dayo from London | in writing, poetry

Why do you speak as if I'm not really there?
Behind closed doors, cupboards distant from ears.
How do you compare me whilst my feelings are smeared?
Yet you want me to be more confident, but it is you whom I fear.
Do you know how many tears I've bled?
freed from eyes own emotional shed.
Tea spooning me the lyrics of an unwanted dream.
I have no voice I cannot scream.
