Title: dani

by matthew from South Yorkshire | in writing, poetry

Now your some solid beat maker
Smoking joints in the middle class wilderness
Of Darley Park; I could slip you ten pounds,
Remind you of when I said, Yeh we're guna' go on;
On and on into the night of living, knights in armour
And you were always the brave one.
I could turn on my phone, make contact,
You'll groan think I'm your minder,
(I was once)
Then like some lonely truck riding the waves
Of midnight smoke filled cab up front,
Yours will penetrate the darkness
And we will talk for hours,
Then you'll know who I am.
