Title: Parrot

by Izzy from Essex | in writing, poetry

On aboard the lost eye,
I lie on my master's shoulder,
Echoing the words of the human,
Every stride he takes,
I shall take,
As I am his shadow,
His stalker or loyal follower,
A swash this way and a sway that,
I flutter my wings in fright,
But a giant hand,
Like a ball of mud,
Tried to calm me,
I follow my leader orders,
And rest back to quietness,
Peacefully waiting,
Joining the harmony of,
'A sailor went to sea, sea, sea'
Thunder clouds surround the ship,
Like a cartoon picture,
I'm ready to soar through the clouds,
Off and off and away.
