Golden tinted eyes scanned the shadowy landscape before it, watching every move its prey made carefully. A throaty growl emitted from deep within its body, striking the utter most fear into the hearts of the many other creatures scattered along the dark forest. Hooked claws made themselves known as the beast released them from their prison, readying himself for the hunt. Razor sharp teeth barred themselves, its lips curling over them in a heart clenching snarl. Thoughts of horrid bloodlust ran through the beast mind, until the point of insanity. The bushes were the beast lay made not a single movement as the beast jumped swiftly over them, and to its unsuspecting prey. Fear filled brown eyes met golden bloodlust filled ones in a feeble attempt to escape. Wounded cries echoed throughout the unforgiving forest, followed closely by sounds of ripping flesh and victory howls. Blood spilled endlessly upon the ground, never making any evidence of the beast's horrendous deed. Once white claws were sainted with blood, once silky fur was now rough and matted with dried black blood, and once pretty golden eyes are now ugly with bloodlust and hate. The beast dug his muzzle into its prey's mangled form for one last search of eatable flesh. Finding none, the beast turned away from the mangled body and towards the full moon above. 'Oh thank you moon for this delectable meal.'
