Title: The diary of a child in Auschwitz

by Alison | in writing, poetry

Hush hush be silent
Don't shed a tear
No's there to listen
No one there to hear
The tiny drops of water
That cool your scorching face
Are minuscule deminities
Of happiness and grace

Why cry?
No ones lending,
An ear to your infant cries
In single file
Like criminals
You trip to your demise

Hush hush there's sunlight
Someone's peering in
To see the harsh reminder
Of the child that's written in

Auschwitz and what happened there are terrible terrible things that should never be forgotten. One can only imagine how members of Auschwitz felt but here I tried to put it into writing.
