Hey Emma! Two great songs in the same day! (Emma's other one is here: )

Good layering again on this track. How do you work out when to use vocal layering? Do you experiment and work out what sounds best with more / without more vocals, or do you have a plan about what to do first?

And keep them coming please! :D

well my friend is an ammeter producer, so he recorded this song with me, we kept it all the same as i has written except the 'oooohhhh... lonly' and 'oooh empty house' bits on the chorus, which was his idea, which i think really completed the song and really gave it that extra special push. i experiment with weather a note goes up or down, or how fast or slow it is, and weather more or less words works, but i never really have a plan, i just go for it, i find it makes it more honest and from the heart. so i just begin with a sentence when i first write it, and bit by bit create a song, and keep singing it again and again making any changes that i think are needed. :)
