For this next design for band ‘El Policia’ I have tried to portray the portraiture side of the cover in a different and unusual way. I have combined a part of each member to give the impression of a person's profile. I have split it into three sections by tearing strips of each members face and top body into sections. I then scanned in each ripped section back into the computer and positioned them around until I came up with a look that I was happy with and one that included a part of each member. I think that the use of torn paper fits into the band’s image and style and shows a different approach to designing it. I have kept the logo very simple in plain white text and positioned it in the bottom right hand corner as this is where it looked best. By making the background black it really makes the torn paper stand out and makes it more eye catching to the viewer.
