Title: El Policia - Album Art

I find great pleasure in designing for El Policia, not only because of their wonderful musical style but also for the fact that as they go to my school, which makes the whole process more meaningful for me. My main objective for the design was to capture the personality of the band. This to me was bold, fresh and unique. They state that their favourite colours are dark and mysterious; none more so than the black background I have used which almost seems to surrounds them. The loud text and bright lines encompasses their bold and fresh characteristics but I feel that the little details are also of great importance. I have implemented writing into the background to represent their 芒聙聹dimly lit room with writing all over the wall芒聙聺 and the little touches such as the hand drawn shoes and belt add individuality while glowing balls add a sense of mystery and drama. By placing the members of the band in the middle, you are able to portray a strong sense of composure and confidence that El Policia is filled with. By using a computer medium, I feel that I am able to convey the design in a professional manner.
