Title: El Policia

For my Â鶹Éç Blast project I chose El Policia as the band I wanted to design an album cover for. I used Serif Page Plus 11 to do this. I decided to have certain features of each of the band members because I thought it was a good way to include the whole band without using the group images. I chose to include the guy’s glasses because I thought that was the coolest thing about him and I liked the ginger hair of one of the others. I chose to have the name written lots of times in the background because I wanted it to resemble the wall on which they said they wrote their lyrics. So this could either be changed to song names or lyrics. I decided to have one large red heading because with the dark images I thought it was a good contrast. I included the scissors to show how the features of each image were cut out and stuck down in a purposefully random – slightly more organic – way.
