Title: Ed Sheeran Portraiture

In the interview Ed Sheeran described his sound as very rootsey, and I used this to develop an idea of depth and texture in my design. To me his music is very colourful and smooth which is why I incorporated the flowing colours in the background. I used a very simple type to not distract the audience from the main image and also because it reflects his style nicely. I used a hand drawing to portray Ed as a gritty and acoustical artist because I thought it fitted in well with his music.
