Colours: For my design I used many earthy tones such as brown and green as alot of mexico is either desert or grass. I used red as it is one of the colours of the mexican flag and it represents the heat in mexico.Patterns: I used many crosses on my design because Mexico is a very religous country. I also used skulls which represent the 'day of the dead' which is a big holiday in Mexico. I have used the national flower of Mexico, the Dahlia flower in my design.I also looked at some of Matthew Williamson's designs and took inspiration from his aztec style clothing.
