My whole design refers to Mexico's vibrant colour and atmosphere. The red, white and green are national colours that represent Mexico on their flag. The design on the dress symbolises the deep cultural background of the Aztec. The Aztecs believed that the sun and stars were gods of sacred things. And also that clouds and lightning imposed threat. In my research I found old myths and meanings of symbols. I have used Matthew Williamson's style by using up beat design and fresh colours for a modern look.
