Beatrix Potter First Edition

This book was bought in a Beverley bookshop, but Beatrix Potter is most closely associated with the Lake District. She wrote and illustrated beautiful books for children, but was always respected for her work in the field of mycology [the study of funghi]. Beatrix Potter created a world of iconic characters for children - Peter Rabbit, Jeremy Fisher, Mrs TiggyWinkle and the Tailor of Gloucester.
