This teddy bear was made by my Great Grandmother in about the 1930s. The Needlework group that she attended in the Brighton area held a competition for everyone to make something for charity. She made the teddy bear. As a result she won the competition and the bear found himself in a Brighton museum for some time until he was rescued and passed on to me.
