World War 1 Logbook - 1st Zeppelin Raids

This is a sadly anonymous Logbook, dating from January to June 1915, which records messages received at an anti-aircraft gun battery on the east coast of England, probably Felixstowe or Harwich. Of particular note on the page illustrated is a report of the first Zeppelin raids on Britain, during the early hours of January 20th. From this rather muddled and cak-handed event (the German Zeppelin crew had little idea where they were that night) one can trace the future history of aerial bombardment - the Blitz, Dresden, Hiroshima, Vietnam and so on.
