This beautifully carved walking stick is still in daily use by the contributor. At the top of the stick, you can see the God of Thunder. Lower down the stick, you can see his drum. The story goes that he has dropped his drum and is trying to get it back. The stick dates from the start of the 20th century, and was given to the contributor by an uncle who bought it when he was stationed in Hong Kong before World War Two.
