They belonged to my Great-Grandfather and my Nana has had them for about 30 years. They were used when my Great - Grandad went out to search for people in the desert because he was a 'desert rat' during the Second World War. My Nan keeps them safe by keeping them in their loft, but she let me take them into school so I could share the story of them with everybody.
