coconut beads and seashell beads

This necklace is made from little pieces of coconut shell and bamboo. It was given to me as a gift in Fiji when I arrived at the airport in 2008. It is a "welcoming" gift from the local people who are pround to have their country as a tourist attraction. They make lots of other thingd=s from local resources and encourage tourists to buy them as that is their only source of income. I feel this is a part of "A History of the World" as living in N.I I am able to show this to my friends and family.
