Mrs Beeton's Cookery Book

This book is a real treasure. It's a second edition of Mrs Beeton's world famous cookery book. It belongs to my mother, who originally came from County Wexford in Ireland. She acquired the book when she was working as a cook in London in 1937. She worked for some amazing people during her time in England and it's from this book that she learnt the art of cookery. Later on in Northern Ireland she became well known as the cook at Lisburn Golf Club. I'm 'borrowing' the book at the moment - it's got some excellent jam recipes that work really well!
