Silver Groat From Colchester

Roy Charlton from Colchester found this in a field whilst out metal detecting. It is a medieval coin made from silver, and probably dates from around 700 years ago. The Latin inscription says: "Henry, King of England". Roy brought the coin down to the Â鶹Éç Essex bus on Colchester high street for inclusion in the 'A History of the World' project.
