Eisteddfod chair

An ornate Eisteddfod chair. This is the chair won by the poet Pedrog at the National Eisteddfod held in Llanelli in 1895. This is a particularly ornate Eisteddfod chair. It was designed by Henry Williams of Penrhosllugwy of Amlwch, Angelsey. Prizes of a crown or chair are awarded at the National Eisteddfod. The chair is awarded for the best poem written in strict metre.
